The unemployment rate is a great market indicator for the future market. As long as employment numbers are strong, mortgages will be paid and manufactured items will be purchased.

Adam's Insight: The unemployment rate increased by 0.1%, but in reality it was close to a 0.5% increase. The economists expect November and December to drop as seasonal employees are hired. This hit may have been worse than expected, we won't know until February when we usually see a slight increase.

Adam's Insight: As the national unemployment rate increases, Florida holds strong at 3.3%. Diversity and the space industry are make hiring and keeping Florida economically strong.

Adam's Insight: The interest rates have a small dip and now we are quickly on our way back to 7%. The peak hit 6.84% in November. If a buyer is looking for 3% it will be a very long wait. The next administration has not implemented reducing interest rates. However, if unemployment continues to increase the #FED will think about reductions to combat unemployment.

Adam's Insight: The lowest homes sold in a given month for since January 2024, however prior to January it has been more than 10 years since fewer than 705 homes sold in a month. When inventory is up and sales are down, prices usually start to decrease. The market is changing from a sellers market to a buyers market. Soon prices will start to drop.
