The unemployment rate is a great market indicator for the future market. As long as employment numbers are strong, mortgages will be paid and manufactured items will be purchased.

Adam's Insight: A worry was the elections would sent the economy into a tailspin, however, that did not happen. The country seems to be happy with a choice to elect President Trump. The new administration has big dreams for the country and economy, but I am skeptical of any government making decisions for the people. Big ideas of 2025: no property tax, reduced government spending and an end to the Ukraine war.

Adam's Insight: The Florida government has done it again, another repeat month. Florida's economy does not move with the country. Nationally we dropped a tenth of a percent and Florida stayed the same. It is good news and Florida has held strong.

Adam's Insight: The rumor on the street is that mortgage rates are going to remain where they are without changing. We should not expect to see rates less than 6% for a very long time! Anyone that bought a home in 2024 thinking they were going to see a lower rate and refinance should stop holding their breath.
